About Haven
As a frequent traveler and a caregiver, Nina Kovack has lived both sides of the airport experience. She has boarded flights mentally retracing every item in the diaper bag. She has watched other caregivers scramble at the gate, searching for formula in a terminal full of coffee shops and nothing else. She has lugged car seats, high chairs, bassinets, and baby gear across multiple stops on global trips with a toddler and newborn twins, all while exclusively pumping.
Nina is the kind of caregiver who over-researches everything. Preparing for a trip felt like a second full-time job. Spreadsheets, packing lists, backup plans for the backup plans. And still, the unforeseen happened. Because it always does. Even the most prepared caregivers hit walls that no amount of planning can prevent.
The pattern was too consistent to ignore. Airports had invested in comfort, speed, and food. They optimized for the business traveler. Families had been left to fend for themselves. Haven is the answer to that gap.

Founder and CEO
Nina spent 15 years in enterprise tech sales, helping build and scale sales teams and their operations. As an avid work and leisure traveler, Nina and her family, which includes three young children, have become accidental travel experts. They are the go-to resource that every caregiver calls for advice before preparing for a trip with children. She knows what it feels like to panic because a baby lost a pacifier steps from the gate. Haven is both of those things at once: a business built on a problem she has felt firsthand.
